GDP in current US dollars estimates the monetary value of final goods and services produced in an economy. This view is useful for comparing aggregate economic scale, not individual living standards.
Limitations
Current-dollar rankings are affected by exchange rates, inflation and differing reference years. GDP is not a measure of household income, equality, environmental cost or wellbeing.
53 of the 238 mapped profiles currently have no imported value for this indicator. EqualAtlas leaves those profiles out of the ranking rather than treating missing data as zero.
