What is included?

The export contains ISO alpha-2 identifiers, stable EqualAtlas slugs, country names, regions, capitals, representative coordinates, Natural Earth geometry identifiers, mapped spherical area, population, calculated population density, GDP and life expectancy. The relevant year is a separate field for every time-dependent indicator.

How to cite it

Suggested attribution: “EqualAtlas country and territory indicators, derived from Natural Earth geometry and World Bank Open Data, downloaded from equalatlas.com/data/downloads.” Please also preserve the original World Bank attribution when redistributing its indicators.

World Bank open datasets are generally distributed under CC BY 4.0 unless a dataset is labelled otherwise. Natural Earth map data is public domain. Read the full source register, calculation methodology and boundary policy before drawing legal or cadastral conclusions.

Version and reproducibility

This release is generated automatically from the same local source data used by the live atlas. Source dataset timestamp: 2026-09-06T08:34:04.457Z. Rebuilding the website regenerates both export formats and prevents the download from silently drifting away from the displayed profiles.
